The SFB 948's School Partnerships

Since the 2013–14 school year, the SFB 948 has been working with schools in Freiburg and the surrounding area. The goals of our school partnership project are to support students in analyzing complex topics, to engage them in multidisciplinary study and to give them a look at academic research at a university. Furthermore, students are given the chance to see how our university functions as a teaching and research institution. Our tutor leads this project from the planning stages to completion.

Contact:

  • The Freiburg Advanced Center of Education (FACE) reported on their cooperation with the SFB 948 and Kreisgymnasium Bad Krozingen. Both the first and second articles are in German.
  • Der Sonntag, a weekly newspaper in South Baden, reported on the closing event of the seminar course "Krieg und Frieden," a collaborative effort of Freiburg Berthold-Gymnasium and the SFB 948. The article is in German.
