For thematic issues of the Journal the editors will publish a call for papers. Contributions which do not specifically deal with this topic are, however, also welcomed. The topic will apply only to longer papers; all other sections of the Journal are not thematic. Prior to an issue's release, papers are peer reviewed as is typical for academic publications.
