Postdoctoral project: Popularisations of the Eighteenth Century in Contemporary British Culture (working title).
Research interests include intersections of literature and science, the heroic in the long eighteenth century, the literary supernatural, and contemporary British fiction.

2007-2014: Lecturer (Akademische Mitarbeiterin) at the English Department of Freiburg University: courses in British Literary and Cultural Studies; supervision of B.A theses
